To my knowledge -- and I truly can't answer for Nightless City because I truly don't remember it -- you've never forced what I didn't want upon me. You've fought with me and evidenced concern. And you've never abandoned me; you had your own lives and your own duties, and they didn't very well line up with mine.

You've always been so upright. I hated the thought that you gave it up at the end, to kill some harmless civilians. I'm glad I was wrong about that.
